Our show is now 2 weeks away. Awards have been finalized and posted.
We have 26 Vendors tables spoken for this year, a NEW RECORD!
Many thanks to the people and companies who have supported the show this year, please check the Supporters button above and express your thanks to them if you use their services. Without their assistance, we could not put on this show.
We look forward to hosting you with an enjoyable contest. See you soon in Nanton.
UPDATE: May 5, 2013
Rather than doing tequila shots, we are busy putting the last bits together for the show. An updated list of Special Awards has been posted, and the supporters page also revised. Get those projects finished, cause we’re now less than a month away!
Welcome back to the Western Canadian Regional Model Contest website! Mark June 1, 2013 on your calendar and get set to join us once again in Nanton at the Bomber Command Museum of Canada.
The Rocky Mountain Model Club, (IPMS Calgary Chapter) would like to extend a warm invitation to attend the 18th Annual Western Canadian Regional Model Contest. In cooperation with IPMS Edmonton, we are very excited to be hosting this event and we look forward to your participation in this event.
Please check back often as updates will be posted:
The show will be located in the Museums main hall, surrounded by a variety of aircraft, vehicles and other historical machinery. Also now of note within the museum is the advancing restoration of an Anson Mk 2, a growing collection of parts for a Handley Page Halifax!!!, and the PR.35 Mosquito RS700. Due to these increased full scale projects our vendor space may be limited. If you wish to sell stuff at the show fill out our vendor form and send it to us asap. We are already 50% sold out on the anticipated table space.
Outside events will include the fantastic run-ups of the Lancaster’s merlins, and a variety of ex-military vehicles.
We look forward to seeing you and your models again real soon,
Contest Coordinator: 18th Annual Western Canadian Regional Model Contest
